The Kremin family sits at the entrance to a log cabin.

Yude-Mendl Kremin (center), with his son-in-law Hirshl Tatarski (right), daughter Rivka Tatarski, son Hayyim-Itchke, and granddaughter Hayya-Rochke Shmidt.

Yude-Medl had a clubfoot as a result of a severe beating by Lida coachmen during a labor dispute. Yude-Mendl died a natural death; all the others perished in the September 1941 massacre.
