    Biography
    Dorrith Sim (born Dorith Oppenheim) is the daughter of Hans and Trudi (Lindenfeld) Oppenheim. She was born December 8, 1931in Kassel, Germany, where her father was a salesman. On July 24, 1939, Dorrith was sent on a Kindertransport to Edinburgh, Scotland. Both of her parents were deported to Auschwitz, where they perished in October 1944.
