    Biography
Helena Bisicka (born Helena Hallerova) is the daughter of Oskar Haller and Stefanka Budlovska Hallerova. She was born on April 4, 1924 in Humpolec, where her parents both were salesmen. In 1939 she left Humpolec for Prague and stayed in different locations until she was rounded-up on December 22, 1942 and sent to Theresienstadt. On October 1, 1944 her father was deported to Auschwitz, where he perished. Three days later, Helena, Stefanka and Stefanka's sister, Augusta Reitlerova, were deported to Auschwitz as well. Helena and Stefanka survived, but Augusta perished. Augusta's husband, Otto, and young son, Ivo, also perished in Auschwitz. Stefanka's father, Zigmund Budlovsky, perished in Treblinka.
