Pictured seated in front, second from the right, is Zysman Kifer.  Also in the front row (left to right) are (probably) Chana Faiga (daughter of Zysman), Hena Brand (sister-in-law to Zysman and a midwife), and Hinda (daughter of Zysman,seated on the far right).  Pictured in the back row (left to right) are Esther Gitel Yacobovitch, her brother Avraham Shumel Yacobovitch, [unidentified], and probably Shlomo Yacobovitch.

Hena was well known for serving as a midwife to lower income families.  She did not charge them a fee, and often brought clothing for the newborns and their families.

Zysman Kifer died in 1941 in Chelmno.  Esther, Avraham, and Hinda also perished in Chelmno.  Shlomo survived.
