- Announcement in Romanian issued by the Mayor of Roman, Food Distribution Service on November 28, 1942, regarding the distribution of sugar.
The text reads: "Office of the Mayor of Roman/Food distribution service/Announcement/Nr. 17.492/28 November 1942/Communication to the general public that beginning November 30, 1942 sugar for the month of October will be distributed as follows:/Christians 500 grams per person/Jews 100 grams per person/Gypsies 200 grams per person/Jews will receive the sugar from these stores: David Avram, Principatele Unite St.; Iosif Marcu, Mare St. Gypsies will receive the sugar from the Ilie Nastase store, 11 Banat St./Sugar will be sold at the price of 114 lei per kg for cubes and 108 lei per kg. for loose sugar and will be distributed on the basis of ration card no.5./Merchants will distribute the sugar to the consumers until December 10, 1942, and we will give justification to the mayor's office until December 14, 1942./Mayor N.C.
