- View of a an open cattle train which had been used to transfer 800 starving concentration camp victims deeper into Germany.
The train was cut off by American planes in Osterburken. The original caption reads "As Allied soldiers closed in, German slave laborers were transferred deeper into Germany to remove evidence of atrocity. This string of cars, cut off by American planes in Osterbruken, carried 800 Poles, French, Austrian and Russian men, 33 of whom were victims of starvation and suffering. (63rd Inf. Div.) - Date
