Pictured are Hugo, Arno and Hulda Geismar. Hulda was born on July 7, 1899. Hugo was born in Breisach on March 27, 1890. Arno was the last Jewish child to be born in Breisach in 1932. The family escaped to the United States.

This is part of series of photographs taken of the Breisach Jewish community on their way to and from synagogue in 1937. In October 1940 the entire community was deported to the Gurs internment camp in southern France.
