Photograph | Photograph Number: 69565

Exterior view of the home of Raphael Bähr (the father of Hermann and Julius) on Judengasse in Breisach.

This house was one of five homes destroyed during the bombing of the town at the end of the war. Most of the other Jewish homes were not destroyed.

This is part of series of photographs taken of the Breisach Jewish community 1937. In October 1940 the entire community was deported to the Gurs internment camp in southern France.
