    Event History
    The Bamberg displaced persons camp operated from approximately December 1945 to April 1949, and housed from 800 to 1800 people at a given time. It operated under the leadership of Leopold Kiss and Aria Salzberg.

    Biography
    Dr. Maurice Kaplan (the uncle of the donor) served as a captain in the medical corps. he took several rolls Agfa color slides immediately after liberation documenting war damage and displaced persons throughout Europe.
