Members of the Zoska battalion of the Armia Krajowa in action during the 1944 Polish resistance uprising.

The men are dressed in stolen German uniforms and armed with confiscated German weapons. Pictured from left to right are Wojciech Omyla, Juliusz Bogdan Deczkowski (the donor), and Tadeusz Milewski. Milewski was killed shortly thereafter. Omyla was killed several days later on August 8, 1944. The Zoska battalion liberated 348 Jews from the Gesiowka prison during the uprising.
