    Biography
    Alexander Zeidel is the son of Leo Aryeh Zeidel and Rachel (nee Buchanz) Ziedel. Alexander was born in Kaunas, Lithuania on October 1, 1921. His father owned a transport service called Litrans. The family were staunch Zionists and immigrated to Palestine in the mid-1930s.
