    Biography
    Marychna (Miriam) Kominkowska (now Greenstein) was born in Sompolno, Poland. Before the war she lived in Radziejow, Alexandrow, and Lubraniec. After the German occupation, she was sent to the Lodz ghetto. From there she was deported to Auschwitz, Bergen-Belsen, Magdeburg, and returned to Bergen-Belsen. After her liberation, she was was sent by the International Red Cross to Sweden in order to recuperate.
