Unauthorized Salvadoran citizenship certificate issued to Edith Schotten (b. 04/30/1931) and her brother and sister Walter (b. 06/09/1935) and Eva (b. 09/09/1936) by George Mandel-Mantello, First Secretary of the Salvadoran Consulate in Switzerland and sent to her residence in Guta.

Three of the Schotten siblings, Eva (born 1936), Walter (born 1935), and Edith (born 1931) were sent to Auschwitz on 15 June 1944 and killed. Their parents Leopold Schotten (1901-1980) and Margit Schotten nee Fischer (1907-1947) hid in France and survived, as did siblings Ilse (born 1932), Shalom (born 1934). Another sibling, Jossi, was born in 1942 in France and survived.
