Unauthorized Salvadoran citizenship certificate issued to Elie Weill (b. January 10, 1901 in Bouxwiller) by George Mandel-Mantello, First Secretary of the Salvadoran Consulate in Switzerland and sent to his residence in Isere.

Dr. Elie Weill was the son of Chief Rabbi Ernest Weill of Colmar and the brother of Dr. Joseph Weill, one of the heads of the OSE. Dr. Elie Weill was working as a physician in the home. Elie Weill immigrated to Switzerland on January 3, 1944. Chateau Manoir served as a religious children's home under the supervision of Rabbi Zalman Schneersohn.
