Helft and Hochberger were caught fleeing to Switzerland in 1943, then deported and murdered in Auschwitz. Koenigshoefer, Rosenblatt, Moser, Wulff, Kern, Joseph, Goldapper, Klonower and Schragenheim escaped illegally to Switzerland in 1943 and survived. The others were hidden in Vichy France and survived.
