Photograph | Photograph Number: 24398

Studio portrait of Anny Freund (the donor's great-aunt).

She, her husband Oskar and their three sons, Egon (b. 2/22/23), Robert (b. 7/10/24) and Viktor (b. 3/24/32), were transported to Theresienstadt on April 28, 1942. From there, Oskar and the three boys were immediately sent to a labor camp in Zamosc where they perished that year. Anny did not go with them to Zamosc, but she also did not survive the Holocaust.
