Propaganda photo showing a German soldier guarding a bonfire of burning mattresses.

The original caption reads: "Roach and lice-ridden Jewish beds being burned in the market square in Myslenice."

The photograph was part of a series of stereographic prints depicting the occupation of Poland entitled "Die Soldaten des Fuehrers im Felde." (The Fuhrer's soldiers in the field. The photographs were mass produced and published by Raumbild-Verlag-Otto Schönstein.
