Caption: U.S soldiers read Nazi propaganda written on a wall in France.

Original caption reads: "Two U.S. soldiers read a German propaganda sign on a building in the Schirmock area of Alsace, Eastern France. The soldiers belong to an infantry regiment fighting on the Western Front. They carrry full field equipment and one of them rides a horse abandoned by the Germans in their retreat. Schirmock lies in a valley in the Vosgoa Mountains, west of Molsheim on the road to Strasbourg. U.S. Signal Corps Photo MTO-HQ-44-20607"
