The orginial American caption reads:
"Do you know him - the actor in the center playing a guitar?
He is Joe Gobbels, acting in a school play in his native town of Rheydt, Germany. The picture was taken of a schoolmate of Dr.Gobbels, who had it autographed when the latter visited his hometown of Rheydt shortly before the American troops captured the city.
He started early as an actor, Joe Gobbels but he will soon lose his job."
