    Biography
Tzvi Pollak (born Bondi Pollak) is the grandfather of the donor. He was born in Budapest in either 1927 or 1928. He was the son of Stefan and Blanka Pollak and had one younger sister Yehudit. Though he and his immediate family survivied the Holocaust, most of his extended family perished. After the war, Bondi married Eva (Hava) Aharon (b. 1926). She and her sisters Erzi and Klari survived deportation to Auschwitz. Bondi and Eva moved to Israel in 1946.
