    Biography
    John Morris Stix was born in St. Louis on November 14, 1920. He studied photography at Black Mountain College and served with the 166th Signal Photo Company. He later got an M.F.A. from Yale and was a theater director and professor of acting at Juilliard. He died October 2, 2004
