    Biography
    Abraham Gordon (born Bronislaw Gelczynski), the father of the donor, was the son of Chaim and Mirjam Gelczynski. He was born in Rozena, Poland on December 25, 1926. In November 1940 he was incarcerated in the Warsaw ghetto and then deported to Auschwitz the following year. He remained there for three years before being transferred to Buchenwald. In 1945 he was evacuated first to Lodz and then to Theresienstadt where he was liberated in May, 1945.
