The inscription on the back of the photograph reads, "This is my son Heinz Georg Blumenstein on his tenth birthday September 22 1945. When I saw him last in Vienna he was three years and four months old. He was hidden by a Dutch farmer in R???erd, Holland from July 1943 until the end of the war until the war and is still there. Please will you be so kind and to show this foto to Mr. John Rich too. Thank you, Frank Blumenstein"
