- Biography
- The Bram family lived in Lomza, Poland prior to the Nazi invasion in 1939. Yankiel and his wife had seven children: Sonia, David, Hershel, Breina, Moshe, Waichi, and Esther. Hershel moved to Paraguay in 1938. Sonia and Esther survived Auschwitz concentration camp; the rest of the family is believed to have been killed there.
After the war Sonia married Jake Tauber, also a concentration camp survivor. They had three children: Luis, Flora, and Alberto.
