Caption: Sylvia Kramarski Kolski with her mother on the streets of the Warsaw ghetto.

Mrs. Kolski kept all of her pre-war and wartime photos in a cloth pouch around her neck after her mother appeared to her in a dream telling her to do so. She was thus able to preserve them throughout the two year period she was in hiding.
