A Jewish policeman poses with his girlfriend in the Rzeszow ghetto.

Pictured is Lonek Fisz, a Jew from Kolbuszowa, who was a member of the Jewish police in Rzeszow. Lonek was caught forging passports for forty Jews who were trying to escape to Hungary. He was killed by the Gestapo on September 12, 1942, in Nowawies along with 200 other Jews. Naftali Saleschütz found this picture in Fisch's jacket after he was shot.
