Portrait of an elderly Jewish couple in Rzeszow, Poland.
Pictured are Berl and Faize Munz. Berl was a Jewish scholar who wrote a book about Maimonides, that was destroyed by the Germans before it was published. He died in his sleep in 1939 before the war began. Faize was killed during a mass shooting during the liquidation of the ghetto in 1943.
