    Biography
    Josette Glicenstein-Franchi (born Josette Glicenstein) is the daughter of Paul and Cyrla (Baron) Glicenstein, Polish Jews who moved to France in the interwar period. Josette had one sister, Jacqueline. Paul and Cyrla were deported from France to Auschwitz on September 14, 1942, where they perished. Josette and Jacqueline both survived the war in hiding in France.
