In front of the "Synagogue of the Deportation" in Cluj and in the presence of Romanian Chief Rabbi Moses Rosen (1912- ), six Hungarian members of the Romanian Parliament ask for forgiveness for the sins of the Hungarian Fascists, for their cooperation in the extermination of more than 130,000 Jews from northern Transylvania.
They were deported to Auschwitz in 1944 by Adolf Eichmann, with the help of the Horthy-ites. Hungarian Bishop Tokes Laszlo takes part in this dramatic ceremony.
