The donor, Frieda B. Radasky, with fellow new immigrants in class in the United States.
Frieda ( Frimit) Bursztyn Radaskyin, originally from Warsaw, lived in the Warsaw Ghetto and was incarcerated in Paviak Prison during 1943. She was transported to German factories, labor and concentration camps in Skarzysko, Kamiene, Czestochowa, Ravensbrueck, Gross-Rosen, and Turkheim-Dachau from where she was liberated. She married a fellow survivor still in Turkheim DP camp, and together they emigrated to the USA in 1949.
