Hilda Kusserow, a Jehovah's Witness who was arrested in March 1936 and was a prisoner until 1945. Kusserow spent the last 1 1/2 years of the war in Ravensbrueck, even after she was scheduled for release in August 1943, because she refused to sign a denunciation of her faith. She died on 27 June 1979.
