A man surveys the damage to the Lichtenstein leather goods store after the Kristallnacht pogrom.

Pictured is Fritz Lichtenstein. The shop also sold umbrellas, which were manufactured in a small factory in Berlin called "Lichtenstein Umbrellas." In the thirties, Fritz and his brother Hans ran the factory and this shop, together with five other shops.
