    Robin Rapaport, born in 1941 in eastern Poland (today Belarus), discusses his family’s experiences after the German occupation in 1941; his mother escaping with his sister and himself (as a six month old infant) and going eastwards; and ending up in Tashkent, Uzbekistan for the remainder of the war.
