    Overview

    Collection Summary
Home movies of Margaret Siegal Weiss and her father Morris’s visit to family in Zborov, Poland and other European cities during the summer of 1936. It was Morris’s first trip back home since he emigrated to the United States in 1911. Scenes show the family’s yardgoods store, the boycott of Jewish merchants at the summer fair, a town picnic, the lake in Berezhany, and family members and their homes. Many individuals who appear in the film did not survive the Holocaust.
