The collection consists of artifacts relating to the 1866 Neue Synagoge [New Synagogue] in Berlin before, during, and after the Holocaust.
Provenance
The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1990 by the Stiftung Neue Synagoge-Centrum Judaicum. It was presented to the Museum by the German Democratic Republic.
