- The collection consists of two steamer trunks, one of which was sent to Lore Gotthelf (later Jacobs) who left Frankfurt-am Main, Germany, on the Kindertransport to England, and the other was used by her husband, Erwin Jacobowitz (later Jacobs), when he immigrated to England in 1939 from Berlin, Germany.
