    Plastic stickpin from a WHW charitable campaign to raise funds for women and children in need. The Winterhilfswerk (WHW / Winter Relief) was the major charity organization of the Nazi Party in Germany. Pins or badges such as this were offered to people who donated to the fund.

    Physical Description
    Trapezoidal, white, molded plastic stickpin. The central design has a raised image of a woman sitting in a chair and rocking a baby in a cradle with raised German text at the bottom. The reverse has a long sharp pin attached to the center by metal disc. A number is impressed in the lower right center back.
