    Brief Narrative
    A pencil drawing of buildings and tress along a road titled “WIZO Nachlat Jitzchak”. The Women’s International Zionist Organization (WIZO) is a volunteer organization focused on social welfare in all areas of Israeli society. The drawing is part of a collection documenting the experiences of Alice Fischl Gerstmann, Gerd Gerstmann, and their families in Czechoslovakia, Germany, and Palestine before, during, and after the Holocaust. Alice Fischl, who fled from Czechoslovakia, and Gerd Gerstmann, who fled from Germany, both immigrated to Palestine where they met and married.
