- Consists of 500 photos & 200 contact sheets, notebooks, and other supporting documents belonging to Uffz. NICKEL, a non-commissioned officer who was a member of the [probably III Battalion] of the Gebirgs-Jäger-Regiments 98 der 1. Gebirgs-Division (Mountain Infantry Regiment 98 of the 1st Mountain Division). This unit was in Lemberg from June 30 to July 4, 1941 (the identification of a Gebirgsjäger is possible via the cap with edelweiss on photo No. V57).
