    Brief Narrative
    The packet of ultramarine dye is part of a collection that consists of memoirs written by donors' father Mitchell Borke (born Mieszlaw Borkowski), as well as photographic material, documents, correspondence, handwritten notes, and clippings. The dye was manufactured in Warsaw, Poland. Mitchell Borke's aunt, Runia, brought this dye with her when she immigrated to Chicago, Illinois, in 1934.
