John Goldmeier collection

Collection Summary
The collection consists of a World War I medal, documents, and photograph albums relating to the experiences of Hans Goldmeier (later John) and his family before and during the war in Germany and during and after the war in England where Hans was sent on a Kindertransport, as well as audio interviews and documents relating to the Kronthal, Friedlander (Fried) and Nakler families, the extended families of the Goldmeiers and of John's wife, Dorothy Fried Goldmeier.
Provenance
The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2014 by Karen Green, the daughter of John Goldmeier.
