    Handle has head of lion with red gem-like eyes; handle is strapped with silver wire and wrapped with silver ribbon that has black stripes and black "SS" sewn onto end; ribbon ends in oblong finial which is wrapped in silver textile braid; blade is painted black and has a blunt, rounded flat end.
