    German pin with acronym VDA, for a charitable fundraising campaign, possibly as part of the events promoted for German Nationality Day. This was an event established by the Nazi Party to promote cultural identity among the German people.

    Physical Description
    Wood pin in the shape of a man in left profile. Man is painted: brown hair, blue eyes, green jacket, blue pants, black shoes, brown backpack. He holds a can painted blue with light blue trim, with a small, painted black line on top, representing a slot, and 3 black initials. The can and the arm are separate pieces of wood laid onto the main piece. The back has text and numbers and a pin clasp set into a groove in the wood, with a small square wood plate covering the groove and sealing in the pin.
