Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell (1857-1941) was an accomplished British soldier who commanded successful campaigns in South Africa, Malta, and India, engaged in military reconnaissance, and was the hero at the Siege of Mafeking (1899-1900) during the Boer War. He is the founder of the world Scouting movement and published the manual "Aids to Scouting."

Lucius Clay during the Four Power talks on the de-Nazification of Germany. His wife, Consuelo Kagan, donated the films to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in November 2005.

Film documents the Wilkins-Ellsworth North Polar Submarine Expedition in 1931, where valuable scientific information was collected in the hopes of reaching the Arctic. The mission failed due to repeated mechanical problems of the 'Nautilus' ship. German intertitles (in quotation marks). "Im 'Nautilus' unter das Polareis!" Celebrating the opening of the new Reichstag in Potsdam's Garrison Church on March 21, 1933 (film continues on Film ID 2682). Shows overpowering National Socialist propaganda. Goebbels staged this day as a device to win support from conservatives and to reassure Germans that the new Reich's Chancellor Hitler could be trusted. German intertitles (in quotation marks).
