    Interview Summary
    Marty Rothman describes his childhood in Hamburg, Germany; his family's expulsion in October 1938 for nine months as part of the Zbaszyn deportation; his return to Germany; his attempts to escape; his capture and experiences in several concentration camps, including Sachsenhausen, Auschwitz and Monowitz-Buna; his immigration to the United States in 1946; and his life in America.
