Oral history interview with Joe Fox

Joseph Fox, born on January 11, 1923 in Warsaw, Poland, discusses his war-time experiences in Warsaw; his participation in the building of the ghetto walls; witnessing starvation and disease; fleeing the ghetto in November 1942; the year he spent in hiding in the woods; joining the partisans in 1943; his experiences with the partisans; his sense of empowerment; his skill at demolitions; the death of his family members, except for two brothers; and the importance of Holocaust education and remembrance.
