Tom Slanger, born in 1935, discusses his early childhood in Vienna, Austria; his father, Louis Slanger, who was an accomplished wrestler; his family's immigration to the United Kingdom in 1939; their subsequent move to the United States in January 1946; his life after the war; his few memories of the Holocaust; and his memories of the wartime events in the United Kingdom.
