Sterling silver US Airman's wing crew pin owned by a US medic

U.S. airman's sterling silver wing pin that belonged to Irving H. Rosenberg who served as a medic in the United States Army during World War II. This pin was given to servicemen who had completed flight training. Rosenberg was a medic with the 46th Medical Battalion (Armored), attached to the 4th Armored Division, which, in 1945, liberated Ohrdruf, a subcamp of Buchenwald concentration camp in Germany.
