Oral history interview with Jerry Neuhaus

The interview describes Mr. Neuhaus's childhood near Kassel, Germany; his limited experiences with antisemitism; and his emigration with his family to the United States in 1937. He describes his experiences as an immigrant in San Francisco, his military service in the Pacific theater in 1943, and his return to San Francisco in 1945. He describes his postwar life and his family.
