The collection consists of a handmade card, correspondence, photographs, reports, and drafts relating to the experiences of Roswell and Marjorie McClelland and their work for the American Friends Service Committee in Europe from 1940-1945, and Roswell McClelland’s work as a War Refugee Board representative in Switzerland, 1944-1945, during and after World War II.
Provenance
The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2014 by Kirk McClelland, the son of Roswell and Marjorie McClelland.
